Mountain Host
Our Mountain Hosts greet guests with a smile, share information, and keep the slopes welcoming. No first-aid certification required, just a passion for people and mountain life!

Patroller
Patrollers are trained responders, providing medical care, assisting guests, and ensuring slope safety. It’s hands-on, rewarding mountain service that builds skills and friendships for life.

Requirements
- Intermediate or better skiing/snowboarding ability
- Completion of OEC and CPR certification

How to get Started with Treetops Ski Patrol
Follow these simple steps to begin your journey:
- Learn about NSP: Explore the Treetops Ski Patrol and National Ski Patrol website, social media, and member stories to understand their mission and values.
- Complete our online application and interest form: Complete the form below, and we will reach out about requirements and and the next steps.
- Acceptance to move forward: Our patrol will review your application and interest form and reply to you within 5 business days with the next steps in the process
- Create your NSP account: Once your local patrol approves you as a candidate, create your account at NSP.org. You’ll receive your member number by email.
- Pay your annual dues: After being added to your patrol’s roster, log in to complete your membership registration and dues payment.
- Enroll in required courses: Register for your Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) (patroller) or Outdoor First Care (OFC) courses through NSP’s Center for Learning.
- Start your patrolling or hosting experience: Once certified, begin serving your mountain, continue your training, and join a national community of safety‑minded skiers and riders.
- Stay connected: Attend regional events, leadership trainings, and NSP gatherings — your journey in service and skill development continues year‑round!
