Hard at work

As much as we all like to channel our inner ski bum and get out to shred the slopes,  we still have to take time to train and learn new things. Every year we spend a considerable amount of time working to improve our skills. We love being out there especially with some fresh snow falling

Happy 1st day of winter

"Winter came down to our home one night. Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow, And we, we were children once again." ― Bill Morgan, Jr.

Looking like winter

It is starting to look a lot like winter at Treetops. We are getting a lot of snow which is being helped by the wonderful snow making team to get everything open. It is always an exciting time. We can't wait to see you on the slopes this winter.

Last Run

Today we celebrate the life of a great friend as we ski a final run. Mike, you will be missed on the slopes. You were a great friend and a great patroller.

"We are the children of winter, and we are blessed. Blessed to know the thrill of speed and the joy of air. Blessed to welcome the shortest days of the year. Blessed to realize the world is our playground."  -Warren Miller-

Thank you Mike for touching our lives. You will be missed by all.

Mountain host with the most!

We would like to welcome Eugene to our patrol family. Eugene is part of our mountain hosts. Mountain hosts are out on the hill to provide guest information, help keep our lift lines running smooth and assist the ski patrol with whatever they may need. They are your source for all the latest happenings at the resort.

Mountain hosting is a great way to learn about what ski patrolling is all about. You can come join us as a mountain host to get your feet "snowy" then take it to the next level with Further training and become a ski patroller. Don't forget to stop and see what Eugene is up to and he will get you the 411

Young adults can do it too!

We would like to welcome our newest fully certified young adult patroller Dustin into our patrol. He is part of a program where you can learn first aid and skiing skills to help patrons out on the slope. This program is specifically for teens 16-18 that are interested in volunteering. If you see Dustin out on the slopes tell him congratulations!

Way to go Dustin!

To learn more about what we do feel free to stop any one of our patrollers and ask. We would love to talk to you about this great opportunity.

Thank you snow making team

Mother Nature has not been as kind to us as we would hope by this point in the season but our wonderful snow making team has helped out immensely. Treetops resort now has 9 runs open and we are hoping for more. Use the link below to check out the current conditions
